Nuclear Weapons that Went to War
William Yengst, Stephen Lukasik and Mark Jensen have examined the impact of nuclear weapons in an array of crisis and conflict situations throughout history. The report does not address the Cold War competition between the US and USSR, and is based entirely on data and information from unclassified sources.
Special thanks to the authors for their comprehensive work, and to Bob Zarate of the Nonproliferation Policy Education Center for making the report available electronically.
