A public relations officer for the Defense Nuclear Agency (DNA) offers a free 8" x 10" glossy of "Minor Scale," a simulated nuclear explosion which took place one hour earlier in the Alamogordo Desert. Journalists were permitted to observe the event but not to photograph it because of the sensitive nature of test apparatus at the base of the explosion.
