85. Congressional Hearing on Operation Crossroads
Lieutenant General John L. Pickitt, director of the Defense Nuclear Agency, testifies that standard safety procedures were followed during Operation Crossroads. There is an urgency to these hearings, since many of the crossroads veterans are dying of illnesses associated with radiation.
