This delegation represents the people of the Pacific Marshall Islands. From 1946 to 1958, the U.S. tested at least 66 atomic and hydrogen bombs in their lagoons, on their islands, and in the surrounding ocean. The Bikini and Rongelap Atolls are still uninhabitable. The marshallese are suing the U.S. government for 5% billion radiation damages. U.S. Court of Claims, Washington, D.C. April 23, 1987.
