... is arrested by British police. She was on of 3,000 women who surrounded the Greenham common Cruise Missile Base and but down half of its 9-mile chan-link fence. For five years, women have maintained a presence at the gates of Greenham common to protest the establishment of American Cruise missiles in England and to register their concern about the genocidal nature of the arms race.
